Project Happy is run by the children of prisoners. This allows us to understand the true impact that having a parent in prison can have on a child's life.
| ● | Improve communication facilities between children and their parents. |
| ● | Reduce the stigma and negativity experienced by prisoners' children through development of education and information. |
| ● | Support the rights of children to maintain contact with an imprisoned parent. |
| ● | Improve childrens' visiting conditions in prisons. |
| ● | Develop and work as a support network for the children and young people who have experienced parental imprisonment. |
| ● | Provide a transport service to enable children and young people to visit an imprisoned parent, relieving the financial pressures on prisoners' families. |
| ● | To provide support for families thereby reducing isolation. |
| ● | To campaign for the improvement of services and to support the rights of this most vulnerable group. |
